Rat neck vessels table setup
Introduction
If (a) there is no other operation site left for the exercise you want to perform, or (b) you are looking for a setting with a narrow access wound and limited space for flipping over the approximator, you can use the rat neck vessels.
Table setup and materials
The setup is the same as for the rat abdominal aorta model. Just like the hind limbs in the rat femoral vessel model, the rat’s forelimbs should be drawn in a caudal direction with loosely applied rubber bands. This makes it easier to access the neck.
